Upon defeating Neochu a second time in mission 55,the player will be rewarded with a Growth Egg, doubling CP Crystarium Points earned after an encounter. Growth Egg is perhaps the more integral or important of these two rewards, however both can be useful during the expanding open areas onwards of Chapter Neochu has a plentiful repository of health 2,, and some dangerous physical attack strength 7, Furthermore, Neochu is immune to many status ailments, with only Imperil and Provoke having any chance of hitting or working during the fight.
It should also be noted that Neochu is immune to pre-emptive strikes, negating the idea of initiating the battle from behind it or using Deceptisol to gain the pre-emptive advantage. In Final Fantasy XIII, Neochu has four primary attacks that can disrupt buffs as well as inflict high damage and status ailments on your party. Sign up for free! What do you need help on?

Global Achievements. I've been going at this for about 2 hours now. I've maxed 1 role in each character with Stage 9 Crystarium. I've got 2 maxed out black belts on Snow, one on Vanille, and some magic boosters for Lightning. And all weapons are maxed out. Debuffing II for Vanille's. I keep dying at screech before Death works. Any suggestions? Last edited by connor ; 13 Nov, pm. Showing 1 - 10 of 10 comments.

I believe a high chain bonus and stagger improve Deaths chances. Or more, if you can. The only thing that improves the connect chances is the number of debuffs active on the target. It's pure, unfiltered, straight-up, undiluted RNG at its finest. It may connect on the third try or on the three hundred thousandth try.
On my first playthrough I spent 70 minutes on it, on the second only
